Workshop on Sustainable Development

On 5th October,2015 a seminar on sustainable development was conducted for the Eco Committee members and the Eco Troopers of Grade 9,10 and 11.

The guest speakers for the seminar were Ms Alaya Hamad who is a sustainability consultant at Diamond builders and Mr Phil, her colleague.

The workshop covered various topics such as sustainable development, recycling,water and energy saving and also discussed about a sustainable city in Dubai, an initiative by the Diamond Group.

Ms Alaya encouraged the students to engage in more environment related activities and also gave tips upon how the whole school can be involved in being Eco friendly.
