Clean up the World Campaign

Solution to Pollution

A successfully organized walkathon and poster contest by our dipsite, Rohan Kapur supported by the AURA team under the guidance of Mrs Anjum, environment coordinator took place at the majaz waterfront in January.

Oil Recycling Initiative

Students bring used cooking oil from their homes in tightly sealed bottles, which is then deposited in a bin placed in the campus and sent to Be'eah for recycling.

Visit to Sustainable City

The Committee members took an educational trip to the Sustainable city where they were given opportunities to satisfy their curiosities and learn the on ground working of sustainable development. 

Green Republic Day

On the 26th of January the republic day of India , to celebrate our patriotism the students of DPS Sharjah along with our teachers planted saplings in our green house.

Youth Earth Summit 2017

A group of 6 students participated in the YES held at UOWD.

Participants were required to make a presentation on the topic of " Affect of Climate change on Biodiversity". DPS Sharjah won first place and a trip to Khor Kalba Eco reserve.

World Future Energy Summit 2017

The eco committee visited the WFES as part of the Abu Dhabi sustainablity week on the 18th of January  in ADNEC (Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center).

We learnt not only methods which are being developed for sustainable energy but also methods which are currently in place.

AURA at Carnival 2K16

The AURA team showcased their agenda to reduce air pollution through a carnival stall and an eco fashion show.

EEG Workshop

Members of DPS Sharjah visited the EEG workshop in Rashid School for Boys on the 9th of November. We discussed SDG's and attentlded a presentation by ENOC
