Environment Day

On June 2nd 2015, Students observed with great enthusiasm, the Environment

Day at school. Various activities were organised to inspire and appreciate the

world we live in and instil the responsibility to protect our environment.

Grade 6

Every student wrote a pledge on a ‘Droplet of Water’ made from used chart

paper. The purpose was to spread Awareness of Water Conservation.

Grade 7

Eco - code is an integral part of the Eco-School. It is unique, creative and stands

for our School’s vision of sustainability. Students of Grde 7 were entrusted to

formulate meaningful Eco-Code for the school.

Grade 8

Students of Grade 8 contributed towards designing the ECO – LOGO.

The elements of the Logo depicted Sustainable Environment, Everyone working

towards a common cause and DPS as an Eco - School

Grade 9

Students contributed towards designing posters that showcased various topics

such as Litter Free School, Protection of Marine Animals, Recycling benefits

and DPS as an Eco - School

Grade 10

Eco Mascot for the school was designed by students to uphold the ideas of

Sustainability, Recycling, promote biodiversity and Recycling.
