Going strong with the above quotes, the Eco- warriors of DPS Sharjah are emerging victorious in a worthy battle to save the environment.
To mark the World Environment Day and to recognize the efforts taken by children all over UAE in recycling initiatives taken up by Emirates Environmental Group; a Virtual Awarding ceremony was hosted by EEG on 8th June 2020.
The ceremony saw the esteemed presence of H.E. Eng. Sheikh Salem Bin Sultan Bin Saqr Al Qassimi, Member of the Executive Council of the Government of Ras Al-Khaimah, Chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation Government of Ras Al Khaimah and an Honorary Member of the Emirates Environmental Group along with several other dignitaries .
Navtej Lenesh of Grade 3 was selected amongst the top finalists of the Emirates Drawing Competition With the combined efforts in recycling paper through the year, DPS Sharjah was recognized as one of the TOP 10 PAPER RECYCLING ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS OF UAE.
EEG’s MOBILE COLLECTION CAMPAIGN saw us bagging the 1st Runner’s Up position.
