Green Nest marked their annual event of Earth Day 2020 by giving students an opportunity to unsheathe their thoughts through the power of the written word. An “Online Essay Writing Competition” was organized between April 22nd to April 27th on the theme, “How Does Climate Change Affect Biodiversity?”
The competition was not just an incentive for students to think in depth about the threats posed to the planet’s biodiversity, but also a medium which showed that utilization of the digital media can be efficiently used to spread an important message about climate change even in these difficult times.
Students all over the UAE actively participated in this competition with seven students from DPS Sharjah bagging several prizes.

Second Position- Annora Shae Mendonca (Grade 3) Bhakti Venkatesh Hegde (Grade 4)
