Earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s needs, but not every man’s greed. ― Mahatma Gandhi
A clean environment is essential for the existence of all living beings. Environmental pollution is one of the key problems faced in our modern world. Though there has been massive technological advancement in these recent days, it has also caused negative effects to the environment. Saving the environment is not just an issue anymore, it is a survival truth. Pollution is damaging not only to human health but also to other species and ecosystems as well. Due to construction, many trees have been cut down. This certainly reduces the amount of oxygen in the environment. Hence, growing more trees would mean better life quality. Waste management is a powerful way of protecting the environment. There must be proper disposal of wastes. Trees are like the lungs of the planet. We must save trees. We can save trees from being cut down by using less paper. Water is the single most important resource on the planet that we live on, and that is why it is essential that we conserve it. “Water, water everywhere, but not a drop to drink.” You must have heard this phrase many times, but have you ever wondered what it means? It means that although there is water all around us, in Earth’s oceans, seas, lakes, rivers, etc., most of it is not drinkable water! It is very important to use this water responsibly and do everything we can to avoid wasting it. Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle in order to lessen plastic waste in the environment. The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it. Do not litter on the road or in your neighbourhood rather volunteer for cleanups in your community. Spread awareness about creating a better environment.
We all have to play our part in saving the Environment!
