“The Earth is what we all have in common” – Wendell Berry, novelist

DPS Sharjah grade 9 & 10 girls celebrated Earth day (UN Sustainability Development Goals) with full participation of students onsite and online in various activities. Earth Day is observed every year on 22nd April. This year DPS Sharjah has incorporated UN sustainable goals in our activities.

In accordance with the aims and objectives of the event, interesting E-activities for students of all grades 9 & 10 girls were planned and executed to ensure their active participation in this important event. Students took their pledge to protect, restore and promote sustainable goals of UN which was followed by a presentation to enlighten the students about the importance of Earth Day. Students were encouraged to participate in a quiz, create posters, create presentations, and also hold a debate.

These activities were carried out in Teams and Zoom during the Class Teacher Period.
